# Newspicel/sdrminusminus

> Client-server software-defined radio application with a visual signal-path editor: device, decoder, and recorder nodes are wired on a canvas. A Rust server handles the radio and DSP, while a React interface runs in a browser or desktop window.

## Useful for

- Build an NFM or FM receiver from the virtual signal generator without real SDR hardware
- Decode FT8, pager, APRS and other traffic from an RTL-SDR or HackRF
- Export IQ over UDP/TCP and forward decoded events to MQTT or a webhook

## Why it’s here

- 13 stars so far today, about 19 expected by the end of the day. The usual pace is 9 per day, so that's 2.1× as much.
- Over the last two days the pace is 1.7× that of the previous week and a half.
- The repository is 54 days old and already has 234 stars.
- Hacker News: “SDR–; open source SDR with a patchable signal graph, Rust DSP, web UI” — 65 points, 17 days ago.
- Recent forks include notable developers: @teknogeek (586 followers).

## Star trust

Star growth looks organic.

Star-trust labels are heuristics based on the repository’s behavior, not a check of every stargazer.

Magnitude (0–10) measures how fast and how unusually interest in a repository is growing right now. It is not a quality score.
Days are UTC. “So far today” is a fact; “expected by the end of the day” is a forecast.
Summaries and use cases are written by an LLM (DeepSeek V4.1 Flash) from the README and may be inaccurate: verify specific claims (benchmarks, speed, hardware) in the repository itself.
Data as of 2026-10-01 12:56 UTC, updated every 30 minutes.
