About the project

A local-first macOS app that indexes photos and videos from folders and lets you search them with AI: by meaning, by scene, by on-screen text (OCR), and by spoken words (Whisper). Everything runs offline, no cloud or accounts.

Useful for
  • Find a specific shot in a video by describing the scene and jump to its timecode
  • Find photos by text visible in the image using OCR search
  • Find an exact spoken phrase in video dialogue via Whisper transcripts

  • The repository is 1 day old and already has 66 stars. With less than two weeks of history, there's no usual pace to compare the spike against yet.

Star trust

Growth looks organic: forks and discussion are in line with active projects, and stars arrive unevenly, the way people give them.

These are heuristics, not a verdict: we judge by the repository’s behavior, not by a list of stargazers.
