Qwen3.8-Flash-Next (MoE, NVFP4) and Qwen3.8-27B on two 16 GB consumer GPUs: two-GPU tensor parallel, experts offloaded to CPU. Formerly ninfer-tp2.

About the project

A C++ inference engine that runs the large Qwen3.8-Flash-Next MoE model (125B) in NVFP4 on two 16 GB consumer GPUs: routed experts are offloaded to host RAM and computed on the CPU, the rest runs tensor-parallel. It also serves the dense Qwen3.8-27B and exposes an OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible API.

Useful for
  • Serve Qwen3.8-Flash-Next locally behind an OpenAI-compatible API on two RTX 5070 Ti
  • Run agentic conversations with prefix cache and idle sessions evicted to RAM
  • Serve the dense Qwen3.8-27B on the same two GPUs for concurrent requests

1.7 Steady Magnitude out of 10 — how fast interest is growing, not a quality score.

Star growth looks organic. Data as of October 20, 2026, 03:22 UTC.

The star-growth assessment does not verify whether the project is safe to run.

Stars per day

048September 24, 2026October 20, 2026

Bars show stars per UTC day; the line is a moving average of available history. Gaps mean missing data, not zero growth. Today's bar is incomplete. Red marks spike days.

Why it’s trending

  • Star-counter measurements on 2026-10-20 (UTC), 01:05–03:17: 58 → 58 stars (+0). This is the change over that interval.
  • Estimated end-of-day forecast: about +6 stars, using observed gains and the previous day.
  • The repository is 26 days old and already has 58 stars.
  • Hacker News: “Show HN: Capy-flash – a 125B MoE model on two 16 GB consumer GPUs” — 8 points, 3 days ago.

Measured growth: the last 7 completed days

New stars over 7 days: 30. +329% versus the preceding 7 days.

Star trust

Growth looks organic: forks and discussion are in line with active projects, and stars arrive unevenly, the way people give them.

These are heuristics, not a verdict: we judge by the repository’s behavior, not by a list of stargazers.
