About the project
Life is a self-hosted telemetry system for the WHOOP 4.0 strap: an iPhone app reads data over Bluetooth and a personal backend archives it and renders dashboards in Prometheus and Grafana, with no WHOOP account or subscription.
Useful for
- Deploy the backend on your own Linux server via Docker Compose and Tailscale
- Collect heart rate, wrist temperature and SpO2 from a WHOOP 4.0 without a subscription
- View HRV, breathing and sleep metrics in private Grafana dashboards

Star trust
Growth looks organic: forks and discussion are in line with active projects, and stars arrive unevenly, the way people give them.
These are heuristics, not a verdict: we judge by the repository’s behavior, not by a list of stargazers.
