About the project
Apache Iggy is a persistent message streaming platform written in Rust that supports QUIC, WebSocket, TCP and HTTP, designed for high throughput and low latency with minimal resource usage. It is a from-scratch append-only log with clustering, consumer groups and SDKs in multiple languages.
Useful for
- Replace Kafka with a single-binary message broker for real-time event streaming
- Run the built-in benchmark app to measure throughput and latency of the server
- Connect an LLM to streaming data through the built-in MCP server

Star growth looks organic. Data as of October 22, 2026, 11:38 UTC.
The star-growth assessment does not verify whether the project is safe to run.
Stars per day
Bars show stars per UTC day; the line is a moving average of available history. Gaps mean missing data, not zero growth. Today's bar is incomplete. Red marks spike days.
Why it’s trending
- Star-counter measurements on 2026-10-22 (UTC), 10:41–11:32: 5156 → 5158 stars (+2). This is the change over that interval.
- Estimated end-of-day forecast: about +8 stars, using observed gains and the previous day.
- Over the last two days the pace is 2.2× that of the previous week and a half.
- GitHub Trending Rust today: #9, +18 stars.
Measured growth: the last 7 completed days
New stars over 7 days: 72. +53% versus the preceding 7 days.

Star trust
Growth looks organic: forks and discussion are in line with active projects, and stars arrive unevenly, the way people give them.
These are heuristics, not a verdict: we judge by the repository’s behavior, not by a list of stargazers.
