About the project

MacTap is a macOS menu bar app that detects knocks on the MacBook chassis or the desk beneath it and turns them into keyboard shortcuts and actions. It only works on MacBooks with an exposed accelerometer (M2 and later, M1 Pro/Max/Ultra), macOS 14.6+.
