About the project
Lightpanda is a headless browser written from scratch in Zig, designed for AI agents and automation. It is not a Chromium fork and uses ~16x less memory and runs ~9x faster than headless Chrome.
Useful for
- Run Puppeteer or Playwright scripts against Lightpanda's CDP server to scrape pages with less memory.
- Dump a URL to HTML, Markdown, PNG, PDF or structured JSON-LD data from the command line.
- Drive the browser with the built-in agent mode and export a deterministic PandaScript for replay.

Star growth looks organic. Data as of October 30, 2026, 12:29 UTC.
The star-growth assessment does not verify whether the project is safe to run.
Stars per day
Bars show stars per UTC day; the line is a moving average of available history. Gaps mean missing data, not zero growth. Today's bar is incomplete. Red marks spike days.
Why it’s trending
- Star-counter measurements on 2026-10-30 (UTC), 10:49–12:16: 37830 → 37878 stars (+48). This is the change over that interval.
- Estimated end-of-day forecast: about +215 stars, using observed gains and the previous day.
- Over the last two days the pace is 9× that of the previous week and a half.
- GitHub Trending today: #15, +559 stars.
- About 29 forks a day — people are taking the code.
Measured growth: the last 7 completed days
New stars over 7 days: 920. +170% versus the preceding 7 days.

Star trust
Growth looks organic: forks and discussion are in line with active projects, and stars arrive unevenly, the way people give them.
These are heuristics, not a verdict: we judge by the repository’s behavior, not by a list of stargazers.
